Facebook Event Importer Pro changed slug and now not working

Facebook Events Importer problems:
1. I changed the slug for the main page for FB events importer and then that page no longer had the events, and in addition the individual events became page does not exist.

2. so I deleted and reinstalled the basic importer, but then I uploaded and tried to install the FBEI PRO and got the following messages:

The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.
Plugin install failed.
Return to Plugin Installer

I believe I need help with problem #2 first, then problem #1.
