Facebook Excerpt length

When you click on the Facebook icon, it lets you share this WordPress post. It displays the image and title, and a line of the excerpt. Is it possible to make the excerpt longer? I’d still have the … link to the website where the whole post came from, but I want more in the teaser. Thanks in advance.
