Facebook feed issue in variable product name

  • Hello,

    First of all thanks for your plugin, is awesome.

    We’ve a strange issue, if we generate Facebook xml with the option Variables+variations the file seems ok but, for some reason, Facebook use as main product title a random variation one.

    For example check the variable product id 57597 in file, the parent product has 4 variations (S,M,L,XL) but Facebook show as parent product the S variation, inside of it add 5 variations (the real parent product and the other four). File seems ok but I can’t understand why it happen, do you have some suggestions? Thanks.

    Thanks for reaching us,

    As far as our understanding goes, variable products in the Facebook catalog display size variations along with their titles. However, it is recommeded to create your feed with All Variations, as the Facebook catalog will not display variable products. Even if a variable product is provided, Facebook will randomly choose a variation from the feed, and it cannot be selected manually. And it’s not an issue related to CTX Feed, I hope you’ll understand.
