We purchased a Facebook Feed Pro plan and had high hopes which has turned into a 2 month nightmare and counting…The plugin does not work as advertised and the support has given us numerous excuses as to why the plugin does not work. We have consistently got delayed responses from the support team. It has been over 2 months of back and forth with absolutely no end in sight, not even a timeframe of when it may be resolved. We just keep being told it will be fixed on the next update and so on, just kicking the can down the road. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a WordPress plugin, EVER!!

The feed does not show any of our events and constantly shows “No upcoming events” or blank events on our website. We followed every instruction to setup this plugin correctly (which was also a nightmare) and had their support team verify our connection through their access in our WordPress dashboard. If you are looking for a Facebook plugin that actually works as advertised, then look somewhere else!! This plugin is an absolute failure from top to bottom and should be shut down until they can produce a working product!!

    Hey @reframedmarketingdesign,

Thank you for leaving a review. First off, we apologize for the delays in resolving your support ticket. I will reach out through the ticket and see if we can’t get back on track here quickly, since the event-related features in our plugin are fully functioning.

The event feeds are unfortunately the most complex part of the plugin, as it requires the creation of a separate Facebook app. We would love to automate this, however, Facebook/Meta does not provide us with the ability to get the necessary permissions through our app automatically due to their Data Protection rules.

The last two months have been additionally tumultuous due to Meta breaking their Events API, leading to us creating a workaround – with the unfortunate side-effect of the workaround being more complex to use. Now, Facebook unexpectedly and without notice fixed the event API, and we re-added the previous event feed flow to the plugin. All of these changes pose a challenge for users to keep up with and set up event feeds easily.

We appreciate your feedback and will work to improve the event type feeds and information around them further. We also apologize for the inconvenience caused here!

    Many thanks,
    Joel
