    Hello,

After clicking “Update” on an existing product in WooCommerce, I receive the following error:

    Facebook for WooCommerce error:
Unsupported post request. Object with ID ‘XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX’ does not exist, cannot be loaded due to missing permissions, or does not support this operation. Please read the Graph API documentation at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api

This doesn’t always happen, but it does happen most of the time.

I see that many users have opened topics regarding this issue, but the solutions/recommendations have varied and I’m not sure what the solution would be for me.

It’s worth noting that as of right now, it doesn’t look like the changes I make appear on Facebook unless I click “Sync” in the Facebook for WooCommerce settings. Obviously it doesn’t make sense to have to sync after every little change I make, so I am hoping to resolve this issue with your help.

    Thanks,
    Tom

    Hello @wildguitars

This response is often due to deleting or changing the product in their Facebook catalog, which means that Facebook for WooCommerce is trying to update a product using an ID that doesn’t exist in Facebook.

Could you please check one of the products you are trying to update on the store and let us know if you see anything on this section:

    https://d.pr/i/G9I8PU

If you do, please click on the Facebook ID link and let us know if it can be opened.

If you see an error, you’ll need to delete the affected product from WooCommerce t in the WooCommerce Facebook metabox (on the edit product page), then to resave the product to create a new object ID for that product and then try to sync again.

I’d also like to better understand your site. Could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here in your response. You can use https://pastebin.com/ and remove any sensitive detail.
