    Hi

    Our WooCommerce site appears to have become disconnected from Facebook. We see the message “Heads up! You’re ready to migrate to a more secure, reliable Facebook for WooCommerce connection. Please click here to reconnect!”

    Following all the steps at the end we are shown a page headed WooCommerce which says Sonething went wrong when connecting to Facebook! Please try again. Automattic.

    We’ve tried repeating the process several times and get the same error.

    Please could you (or anyone) offer some assistance?

    By way of an update we installed the snippet and have made sure that all firewalls are bypassed.

    This site can’t be reached
    wc-connect-test.skyverge.com unexpectedly closed the connection.

    Hey @synapseuk

    Please ensure you are also connecting to the correct Facebook account. Documentation for the plugin is here. Please ensure the plugin is set up correctly. https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/

    If the issue persists, could you disable all plugins on your site except for WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce and try this reconnection.
    We would like to check if another plugin is blocking or conflicting with this setup flow.

    Thanks for the suggestions – I’ve followed them but unfortunately the same error is generated.

    What can we try next?

    Hey there!

    Could you follow the instructions from here to uninstall Facebook for WooCommerce and delete app on here.

    What this essentially does is resets everything on your store and everything on Facebook and helps you start from scratch.

    Hi,

    I reset everything and tried again and got the same error. I switched to a 3rd party plugin (admittedly not free) and that worked fine, first time. I’ll stick with that from here on.
