Hello everybody! The plugin Facebook for Woocommerce from one day to another was stop syncing.

Apparently the configuration it’s ok, but even doing the manual synchronization, some products in the facebook/instagram are with another price, or some store hidden products still showing.

How can I start debugging this?

Thank you for reaching out about this, as it appears that something is off.

How can I start debugging this?

To help you further, I’d like to understand more about your setup.

Could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

Once you’ve done that, you can paste the text in https://gist.github.com/ and feel free to change/remove your site URL in the report for privacy reasons.

You can paste the Gist link here in your reply, once you have that.

Furthermore, kindly enable debug mode, as explained here, in order to have a better picture of what is happening.

Looking forward to your response, thank you.

I’ve attach a video who show the instagram navigation shop, and when select some product the site shows a 404 error, because this product are hidden, but in the instagram still showing it.

    Sory for my bad english.

    Tnx for the help!

    Hi @damfernandez83

Thanks for sharing the requested information above.

Kindly be informed that at the moment Instagram shopping support is not available. You can use Instagram Shopping extension if you need users to checkout from Instagram.

We highly recommend not selecting the Facebook/Instagram checkout option when creating a Facebook/Instagram shop or commerce account associated with the Facebook for WooCommerce extension catalog. As this feature isn’t supported, you may not be able to fulfill customers’ orders if you attempt to use the extension’s catalog for Facebook/Instagram checkout.

Meanwhile, if you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

    Hello xue28!

The Facebook/Instagram checkout option are in the site/woocommerce/plugin side or it’s something you config in the facebook commercial profile?

    Tnx again!

    PD: there’s no any logs.

    Hi,

The Facebook/Instagram checkout option are in the site/woocommerce/plugin side or it’s something you config in the facebook commercial profile?

To clarify, please refer to our documentation related to this topic: https://woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/#facebook-checkout

    I hope this provides clarity.

    Hello Igor H woo-hc.

Sorry, but that link doesn’t show any information related with my questions.

    Hola @damfernandez83

Thank you for reaching back, with further information on this.

While investigating the site’s installed plugins, in the System Status Report (SSR) you successfully posted in a gist file (thanks!), it appears that the Familab Instagram Shop: por Familab – 1.0.5 plugin is related to the inquiry posted here.

The Facebook/Instagram checkout option are in the site/woocommerce/plugin side or it’s something you config in the facebook commercial profile?

Let’s clarify that further. In the “Getting started” part of the plugin’s documentation, there is a notice in yellow background, that reads:

    Please leave “Instagram Shopping unchecked.

The same is showcased in the screenshot linked here.

For the times when connecting a WooCommerce store to Instagram is necessary, we suggest going ahead with the?Instagram Shopping?plugin, my colleague suggested.

Since the Familab Instagram Shop: por Familab – 1.0.5 plugin is currently activated, feel free to either:

    • Check out the?Instagram Shopping?plugin, while having Familab Instagram Shop temporarily deactivated, or
    • Get in touch with the Familab Instagram Shop plugin’s support channel

I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know. We’re happy to help.

    Pepe, hello again.

The issue isn’t related with the familab instagram shop, because this plugin it’s to display IG feed in the website. However, this feature it’s not necesary for the moment, so I deactivated the plugin and the problem continues.

Besides, we don’t need than the users can shop directly from instagram, we only need than the users can see the products in the instagram shop, click and go to the woocomerce store, with that we’re all happy.

To clarify the problem, for example, in our store, we have the Eleo Black shoe as a hidden product, with no sincronization, as you can see here.

But if you go to the facebook or instagram shop, even after manual sincrhonization, the product still remain there, as you can see here and here.

So, what’s we are doing wrong?

Tnx a lot for the quick responses.

    Hi @damfernandez83

Thanks for providing further information about your issue here.

But if you go to the facebook or instagram shop, even after manual sincrhonization, the product still remain there, as you can see here and here.

I understand that some products are being displayed on your FB/IG Shop even if synchronization is turned off for these products, correct?

Occasionally, deleting or resetting all products from the Facebook catalog and then letting things sync again is the only way to fix strange issues. This requires a code snippet, which you can read more about here.

Let us know how it goes!

    Hello xue28!

Ok, this seems a bit annoying if it’s a recurring thing, but hey, let’s try…

Can the snippet be placed in the functions.php file or is there somewhere special? Should it be run once and then removed?

    Thank you so much!

    Hi,

Can the snippet be placed in the functions.php file or is there somewhere special? Should it be run once and then removed?

It can be added to your functions.php file, or you can also add custom code using plugins e.g. the Code Snippets plugin (This option does not need to touch the functions.php file directly). I’d also suggest updating your Facebook for WooCommerce extension to be 3.0.11 which was recently rolled out to see if that helps.

Let us know how that goes.

    Hello,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
