    Through the Facebook for Woocommece plugin v2.0.1, I’m trying to use a Facebook pixel that is linked to my personal ad account as it has months of historical data from our website. However, since the update, it won’t let me do it and has the pixel blanked out and the error message “the ad account that owns this pixel is not eligible”.

    Can someone provide advice on how I can resolve this?

    Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help you with this!

    You are correct that the setup has changed a bit from version 1.11.4 of the plugin to 2.x. Previous versions of the plugin only allowed personal ad pixels to be used and that has changed to only allowing for pixels managed by your Business Manager account.

    That being said, you can grant access or transfer your personal ad pixel to your Business Manager to retain the history!

    Inside your personal ad account, take note of the pixel ID. Then, back inside your Business Manager account – under pixel settings – you can add an existing pixel. You’ll want to enter your pixel ID there to claim it.

    Would you please give that a try and see if that works for you?

    Where in my Business Manager can I add an existing pixel? It appears to only let me create a new one….

    Hi @srmcroser,

    Sorry – looks like I may have had that backwards. You’ll need to take note of your Business Manager ID and then surf to the pixel, adding the business manager id as a partner for that pixel.

    I am having the same problem. We want to switch the pixel, but the other pixel gives an error message “the ad account that owns this pixel is not eligible”.

    I can see the pixel I want to add in FB Event Manager, could you please walk me through how to get this connected?
