If two plugins or themes both reference a fontello icon font as font-family: 'fontello', this can cause conflicts like the one you’ve seen.

To work around this, you could consider editing your theme or plugin to rename the fontello font. If you’d like to change this in the Simple Social Icons plugin, you would need to edit the file at wp-content/plugins/simple-social-icons/css/style.css, then find all mentions of font-family: 'fontello'; and change them to font-family: 'ssi-fontello'; instead.
