Facebook Instant Articles questions

I’m using the plugin to get my site registered from FB Instant Articles. It’s using Google AMP fine.

The FB IA process is incredibly long, tedious & complex. Though my FB page has hundreds of article published from my blog, the IA production queue right now has 7 articles. It seems to be adding one or two articles per day to the queue. Is this the process it will follow till it gets to the requisite number of 10 posts? Frankly, I don’t understand why it just doesn’t search the articles I’ve already published via my FB pg & approve me.

My second question was that images I used in my post are generating errors like this one (so far 2 of the 7 posts have this error):

“Your Article Can’t Be Published
You must fix the errors noted before your article can be published.
Could Not Download Image: Your image from URL https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2018/01/27/14/48A148D300000578-0-image-a-2_1517065171911.jpg could not be downloaded with an error code 0. Please check to make sure image at https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2018/01/27/14/48A148D300000578-0-image-a-2_1517065171911.jpg is active and loads correctly at that URL.”

Is this happening because my post links to images on third party web pages? Is there any way to correct this short of hosting every image I use on my own server? Is there a plugin or some sort of configuration which can fix this image issue?

Also, if I keep waiting for the production article queue to reach 10 articles, will these errors not matter?
