facebook like button in post

    after much searching i have been unsucessful in finding how to place my facebook like button in my header.

    the plugin gives me an option to place before or after content. how do i for example place the the button in my header, i have an option to place manually but once this is activated i have no further options as where to place to be specific.

    would someone be kind enough to help?
