    Hi!

I’m using the Facebook Messenger on my Shop, but since I installed AIOS and the Firewall, the Messenger isn’t showing anymore. The Browser tells me that the Messenger is blocked by CORS.

I can’t find a setting to allow the Messenger.

Can someone tell me how to fix this issue?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @lordfrank

Thanks for raising issue. Please go to Plugins list in wp-admin.

There you can see the All in one security plugin > You can deactivate the plugin and make sure that the issue is from All in one security plugin.

Generally the error mentioned might be due to Firewall settings or Miscellaneous on of the setings.

Please try disable one by one mentioned below and see if it start to work. If not let me know I will try setup in local to reproduce the issue.

    1. WP Security > Firewall > Basic firewall rules tab > Completely block access to XMLRPC, Disable pingback functionality from XMLRPC Please uncheck both and Save
    2. REST API – WP Security > Miscellaneous > WP REST API Can you please cross check the Disallow unauthorized REST requests:
    3. Deny bad query string – WP Security > Firewall > Addition firewall rules tab. Deny bad query strings: uncheck the checkbox and save
    4. Advanced char filter – WP Security > Firewall > Addition firewall rules tab. Enable advanced character string filter :uncheck the checkbox and save
    5. 4) 5g firewall rules – WP Security > Firewall > 6G Blacklist firewall rules tab. Enable legacy 5G firewall protection uncheck the checkbox and save
    6. 6g firewall rules – WP Security > Firewall > 6G Blacklist firewall rules tab. Enable 6G firewall rules – uncheck the checkbox and save

    Hi!

    Thanks for your quick response.

I tried all the proposes but it doesn’t have any effect.

Looks like CORS is still blocking. I cleared all caches.

    Hi @lordfrank

I have enabled the face book chat plugin on one of my site where AIOS installed with most Firewall rules and other settings on. It loads without any error. Did you try deactivate All in one security plugin and check.

Is it not the domain issue at facebook that have to corss check.

    https://developers.facebook.com/docs/messenger-platform/reference/messenger-profile-api/domain-whitelisting/

If Deactivate AIOS plugin still there issue it is not the AIOS issue and you should contact the Facebook chat plugin support. There such errors are there.
