Facebook Messenger

  • Hello,

    Great plugin, everything works perfectly, just a slight issue. It seems that the Facebook Messenger share opens the Facebook website in the browser, and not the Facebook Messenger app. Do you maybe know how to resolve that issue?

    Hi there,

    You can see the Facebook Messenger button working fine at the demo page https://www.heateor.com/sassy-social-share-demo/
    If you give me url of your webpage where you have integrated the messenger button, would be able to look into the situation.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the quick response, really appreciate it! Regarding the Demo page, I have tried on several devices and the messenger share icon opens up m.facebook.com in the browser, and not the application, maybe I’m missing something here, so if you could shed some light on the situation that would be great!

    It might be because Facebook Messenger dialogue does not support mobile devices.
