Facebook new account – only Facebook API choice

  • Since latest update .28 it’s not possible anymore to add new account via userID and sessionID setting. Before as a user, you got the choice to use Facebook API or via sessions/username-pasw but since latest update, this option is not visible anymore.

    Beside this : updating to facebook gives errors and nothing can be posted anymore.
    Hope this will be fixed very soon..

    thought that switching username vs sessionID might be a solution but in the latest version when you select ‘new facebook account, you only have only possibility to create a facebook app) and “the next scripts api beta” is not visible anymore.

    since we are not able to post in an ancient version and in the latest version, we can wait one more day, but this functionality is crucial for us. Hope today can clarify a lot;

    I too just noticed that adding New Account for Facebook that the Nextscripts API using either UserID and SessionID or username and password is no longer available. Yes, I have a PAID Pro subscription and that API is the big reason for doing that.

    No communication from the developer about the use of their Nextscripts API. I never have gotten it to work and continue posting for more than 1 or 2 posts before having to set it up all over again.

    I am in the same boat, purchased the premium plugin a month ago and cant connect to Facebook. Only native API option available and that option doesn’t complete the OAuth handshake with the plugin. It redirects to a blank page on web.facebook.com instead of redirecting back to the setup redirect page. So its not possible to complete the authorize link. And because there is no option for me to use the premium API, I cant connect my Facebook at all. My Facebook app has been approved by Facebook and everything required from that end has been done correctly.
