facebook not crawling my thumnails

I am experiencing the same issue. I believe it is tied to Facebook’s new rules for modifying link images which rolled out July 18th. Have not found a workaround yet.

They are basically killing all the bloggers, they only allow publishers to edit the link previews. which is so unfair! If anyone can find a solution on this, please share.

Will they eventually disallow us to post on facebook?

Please set your OG metatags correctly. There are dozens of plugins that can do that.

Facebook is dropping support for explicitly provided attachment info like image, title and description. Facebook API 2.9 made those fields 90 days deprecated.

That means all apps created after April 18th, 2017 stopped posting on July 18, 2017.

All app created before April 18th, 2017 will loose that ability on July 18th, 2019

The only option left is OG metatags.
