Suddently most of the blog posts that are shared on a Facebook page do not pick any image (when using autoposting). When i explicitly repost to Facebook from within a specific post, the image is picked up correctly. The og: tags are set correctly to the featured image and the Open Graph Debugger verifies this. If i manually share the post link directly on Facebook, the featured image is again picked up correctly.

So it seems that the featured image is not picked up only when upon publishing a post, it is automatically shared (autoposting). Any ideas as to why this would be happening?

The Log/History does not show any problems. Posts on G+ showthe featured image correctly.

You need to set the delay. Your image is not ready at the time you publish the post

Thanks for the fast reply. I’m surprised a delay needs to be set when “Let Facebook fill the link info” is selected (in my case, it always has been selected). Maybe the documentation should be updated, because my situation is placed under the “exceptions”, ie not needing a delay to be set.

Edit: It still happens, even though less often, even when the auto-sharing is delayed by minutes. Any other things i can try?
