Facebook not scraping?

    Hello,

    I’m not sure if it’s a plugin issue, WordPress issue or Facebook issue, but I’ve noticed the past two days (After I did the latest update, so I’m assuming it’s a plugin issue), that Facebook isn’t picking up on Featured Image or really the post title and text at all when I share it. I have to go into Facebook Debugger and debug once for it to pick up on the title of the post and description text, then scrape again for the photo to appear.

    Any chance you know what’s going on? I checked to make sure everything was setup right in the plugin, which it is the same as it was before when it worked correctly.

  • I think this is describing the same problem I have. The first time I save a meta description, if I share on Facebook, the post will have that descriptions. But if i update the meta description, the Facebook description does not update.
