Facebook og:image tag

  • When I attempt to post to FaceBook and link my blog, the incorrect image shows up. I’ve attempted to “rescrape” many times with the developer tool (https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/sharing/) however the wrong image is always pulled back. I have Ultimate Social Media as well as YoastSEO installed. In YoastSEO under Social -> Facebook the correct image link is specified. Under Ultimate Social Media there doesn’t seem to be a place to specify it.

    I’ve looked at the code behind my header.php page in the <head></head> section and it is not called out there.

    If I press F12 in Chrome while viewing the homepage of [ Redundant like redacted ], I see an index file, but when I go to my hosting provider’s site and open the “Files” link or use Filezilla to FTP to the site, I am unable to locate a file titled index.

    I would appreciate anyone’s help in locating where the og:image tag might be hiding. Thank you in advance!
