Facebook Page link not showing.

    Hi Folks,
    Having trouble getting the Facebook Page field to show in any of the directory views. Twitter is showing fine.
    Probably something silly but any advice would be appreciated.

    Sorry that you ran into issues here!

    Can you tell me a bit more?
    – What version of WP are you running here?
    – What exact version of BD? (number, please)

    Hi,
    Running WP 5.2.2
    BD 5.5.8 with Migration Scripts plugin v 5.0.2

    Have not had time to do a proper conflict check yet due to time constraints.
    Either way it would mean that BD or another plugin would have to go and we need them all.
    Short term we will change the field to a url which we know does work fine.

    The results of a conflict test in this case would be super important because it helps narrow down the cause and source of the issue.

    If it’s a major plugin, we can address it, knowing that it’s between X and Y. Other plugins, we might be able to find the cause so it can be worked around or perhaps the author of that plugin or theme can assist in fixing the issues.

    It’s definitely an important and common thing when working in WordPress.

    If you want to revisit the issue, please let me know the results of that conflict test.

    Hi, thanks for the update.
    We tested the plugins and theme and the field is still not showing.
    Only have 7 plugins on the site and activated a default WP theme to test.
    We can use a URL field for now so no worries.
    The site is in development but we can provide an admin login if you would like to have a look.

    Hi @scotlandswebdesign,

    Just to clarify, when you ran the conflict test–did you deactivate ALL other plugins EXCEPT BD and also have the default theme running?

    That’s the only valid way to run a conflict test (stripping it down to just a handful is still not quite right).

    If you didn’t do that, please try that FIRST.
