• I am creating a new Facebook app which is a tab for my facebook page. It basically pulls data from some place on the web and displays it within an iframe on the facebook page.

The data I want to use is at the following URL
    https://theviolent.net/free-weekly-image/
I can view this URL from any web-browser and the entire page is displayed correctly.

When in Facebook, the URL only returns a 404 not found error.
I was wondering if anyone knew if this has anything to do with permalinks and .htaccess or if anyone has any ideas why this could be happening.

My facebook app id is: 198115793574826
The app page URL on facebook is :
    https://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=198115793574826

    Thanks!!

I have discovered that this error does not occur when I point facebook to a static html page which is not generated by wordpress.

The error only happens when facebook tries to see some page generated by wordpress which does not have an actual real url, but a somewhat virtual permalink.

Does anyone have any idea how I can overcome this so that I can get facebook to see one of my WordPress generated pages with a virtual url?

    Thanks!!
