Facebook Pixel Not Firing Add To Cart or Purchases

    Hi there. Hoping someone can help. We have two agency’s with two different facebook pixels. Both are installed on our site. One however is not firing add to cart or purchases reports as an event.

    We are using a Header snippet plugin and just pasted in the script in the header to load on all pages of site.

    Woocommerce was updated to current version 4.5.2.

    Any ideas what could cause this?

    Hey @vastdesign,

    Have you tried using the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin as a test as that includes pixel functionality. It would give you a second set of results for testing with regards to pixel integration.

    Hi Stuart,
    no, not yet. I don’t have access to the facebook account that will be driving the sales. We hired an agency and they gave us the pixel. All we did is copy and paste it in the head as its supposed to be. It records page views but does not see when product is added to cart or purchased. I have no idea what is going on. Could Woocommerce been updated and something changed?

    We just tried installing the facebook for woocommerce plugin and it got an error as if the site was already linked with another account. Ideas on how to delete that link?

    Hey @vastdesign,

    It may be worth removing any existing FaceBook pixels from the site for the time being when testing. I’d also double-check the site to see if there is possibly another plugin which is linking to Facebook.

    If you still face this behaviour with the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin you could post in the plugins official support forum to see if anyone else has experienced similar behaviour.
