    Interestingly I found this error only occurs in the (actual) sidebar.
    As I understand it widgets render the same backendwise regardless of the location.
    This just might be a storefront/book shop issue then.

    This is confirmed as a storefront issue.
    Woocommerce team said today 12 june 2017 they’ll soon release a fix.
