The Facebook Product Sets are not syncing. When I first installed the Plugin, this feature was working and now it is not.

The feature where you can create a Facebook Product Set in your website and have it sync to your Catalog/Shop no longer works.

The Product Sets appear along the top when viewing the live Shop: https://snipboard.io/DJluVe.jpg

They cannot be edited in Shop in Commerce Manager (Facebook/Meta sections) as it must come from the Plugin API synced from your website to the Facebook Shop.

The Facebook Product Sets are supposed to be edited within your website in the WP Admin area:

Once there, you can choose a category or categories of your products that will appear in the Facebook Product Set. These are the Product Categories created in WooCommerce/WordPress on your site. For example, I have different categories, such as, “American Flags”, “Pirate Flags”, etc.

It was a great feature that is no longer working.

Previously, I was also able to upload a category image when setting up my Shop design in Commerce Manager>Shops but the images I had uploaded have since disappeared and now this feature is disabled and it states: “You can update this collection’s information and products on partner platform. It can take a few days for your changes to be reviewed and visible to customers.” SCREENSHOT: https://snipboard.io/WFBMQi.jpg

Please note, this is also called “Sets” in Commerce Manager under Catalog. SCREENSHOT: https://snipboard.io/qWJznu.jpg

Here, there is a feature to edit Product Sets. When I go there, it appears that my products which are coming from the chosen category from my website are there, however theyare uneditable, cannot be deleted (to perhaps reset the data) and they do not appear inthe Shop. In this screenshot, it shows only one product is showing, but many that are “chosen” to appear that previously came over from the API sync/Facebook Product Set set up in WP Admin: SCREENSHOT: https://snipboard.io/FTPmrJ.jpg

  • Hello,

This is odd, to take a closer look, please share a copy of your site’s System Status, You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.?

Please send as well a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available).

That will help to better understand this scenario, thanks.

Hi Igor, Thanks for your reply.

I managed to figure out how to resolve the sync. It looks like due to some previous Plugin Update what I had created before was not syncing. I deleted all Facebook Product Sets on my website and then have been recreating them one-by-one and they are appearing in Shops/Catalogs in Commerce Manager on Facebook/Meta.

The only last thing to resolve is how to add a Facebook Product Set image. I was able to do this in the Shop Builder, but now I cannot. It apparently has to be created in my website and synced but there is no feature/setting to do this? I was able to do this previously but now it is set to only display one product image or a grid of 4. It might be that this feature just is no longer available…

I’m glad you were able to find a solution to your issue here and thanks for sharing it with the community too! ??

I understand that you would like to add an image for a set using the Facebook for WooCommerce.

Can you please share with us how are you doing this using the Shop Builder you are referring to here as this feature is not yet supported by our plugin? Furthermore, I am not seeing this option under the FB Commerce Manager. It was also not mentioned under this support documentation: How to create and edit product sets in your catalog in Commerce Manager

If a screenshot would be helpful, I’d recommend using https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

    Looking forward to your reply.
