All the videos on my sites are youtube videos that auto post to my facebook fan page. however the thumbnails generated by video thumbnails are not pulled correctly by facebook even when og:image is pointing to the right image above 200x200px. facebook would instead grab the wrong random image which are coming from other videos instead.

running facebook debugger would give me only the following error:

Provided og:image could not be downloaded or is not big enough. Please use an image that’s at least 200x200px and is accessible from Facebook.

most of my video thumbnails are in 480 x 360 so i have no idea how to fix it for now. Would appreciate any advice, thanks.

Video Thumbnails sets the featured image but does not generate the og:image tag because most themes or SEO plugins do this automatically with the featured image. Are you using an SEO plugin and can you provide a link to your site?

this is really strange… if i test any of my urls using https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ , i will get the Provided og:image could not be downloaded or is not big enough. But when i click the Debug button again, it gets rectified and facebook will grab the correct image and the error disappears. i know it has nothing to do with your plugin now…

I am using Yoast WordPress SEO with Facebook Open Graph Meta Tags for WordPress.

    my site is tvtv.ml

I’m seeing an identical issue. I’m also running Yoast WordPress SEO. Every plugin is updated to the latest version.

Is there a solution to this?
