Facebook share fix

    Hi,
    I recently installed your plugin and tried it on a blog. The “facebook like” worked well, but the “facebook share” not really. I made a fb application and registered its id, as required in a similar thread, but it helped only partially. I could then post it to someone’s timeline and it created also a new post on my fb timeline, but sharing to a friends group didn’t work. That is sure, we tested it on several test cases.
    Then I made a small look at the code (being a developer myself) and at the fb developers code snippet and discovered the difference: a ‘&version=v2.0’ parameter to the js.src url used in fb-root (what looks like js.src = “//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1&appId=$appId&version=v2.0”; now). I added this at the 2 places in the php file, and the sharing started to work indeed. Take a look. Cheers,

  • Hi,
    last time I checked the “all.js” script showed the same code when called with or without the “&version=v2.0” parameter. Maybe it’s dependent on device or region; I’m certainly adding it today in the next plugin release.
