Facebook Share Image?

    Does this plugin allow me to select the image I want to be shared for each page when someone pastes my link into Facebook? I’m new to this stuff and lost. Can’t get the right image to show or at the right size. I read that a competing product apparently does this, but I’ve read bad things about that product too, so I wanted to ask before I looked for other solutions.

    Hi Dan,

    I still need to get started on the sharing images, and even an uploader that gets it right for you.
    Alas, it falls back on WordPress default images for now. Like for example the Featured Image.

    Image SEO is planned for version 2.8.0, or through a free extension. Whichever suits best :). But for now, this has to do.

    I know it’s not the answer you’re looking for, and I’ve had this question dozens of times before. I’m sorry to disappoint you :(.

    Luckily, there are quite a few plugins that allow you to add Facebook specific tags, including ones for perfectly sized images.
    You can then simply disable the Facebook tags and Open Graph tags within the Social Meta Settings for The SEO Framework and the other plugin will take that part over for you. Many plugins are already automatically detected! ??

    Here’s a list of plugin names that The SEO Framework automatically detects which may allow for perfect images. They’re all available on www.ads-software.com.

    Thanks for getting back to me. I look forward to your implementation. I’m going down that list and so far some of the plugins that might have worked seem to be out of development or have other issues. I’ll get through the list, though, and one way or another, I’ll figure it out. : )
