    Ok . It’s up. Download version 1.07. I also added the shortcode option. Another user requested it today actually. [get_social_code] can be placed on any page.

    Still pulling random images after I installed 1.07 and installed Auto featured image. Its the same three images and they are only working on pg one. One of the images is actually from an article on pg 2. Just not making any sense to me at all. I am going to try putting [get_social_code] in now. Can this go on the functions.php in the same place as the other code
    add_theme_support( ‘post-thumbnails’ );
    Thanks again,

    No. The shortcode [get_social_code] needs to be placed in a post or page. Send me the exact link to your page that isn’t working.

    Ok. After digging around for quite some time. It’s obvious at this point you have 2 social plugins. Mine and the All in One Social SEO Plugin for this not to happen in the future, when you are trouble shooting with wordpress. You deactivate all plugins that might have anything to do with the issue. Then you test whatever issue again. If it works. Then you know it’s one of your other plugins causing the problem. In your case. The All in One SEO plugin is causing this issue because it’s conflicting with my Image Meta Genie. However. I am super cool and like to make things easy for people. So I coded my plugin to try and load it’s facebook header stuff lower than other plugins’ facebook header stuff. So now all you have to do is install version 1.08. I certainly hope it fixes your problem. If it doesn’t I’d say deactivate all in one seo.

    ok I updated to 1.0.8 on the plugin and still getting the same effects of the three random images on pg1 and gray boxes on pg 2, so I deactivated All in one SEO and still the same thing. Any Ideas? Thanks for the continued support

    It’s a caching issue this point for pg2. The image is actually working correctly. I see https://www.jwflyfishing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/JWSlyinky-picture.jpg in your header and nothing below it when I search for og:image. So I’d wait a bit and it work. As far as pg1 you should just put the image you want to show up as the shared image at the top of the post you want to share it from.

    I added Auto Featured Image plugin and still nothing just those threee random images that come up when you hit Facebook share button. Two of the images come from second post titled “Cold weather got you down” and the third image is coming from an article on pg 2. I even went into “COLD WATER GOT YOU DOWN” article and set featured image and it still will not override and show that image. I am at a loss, LOL not that I have ever been anything else when it comes to wordpress! Thanks again for trying to Help MEH! BTY I thought that was a nice touch to your update.

    Another reason why I think it’s cache, is blank image that is actually showing is from the all in one seo pack itself.

    https://fbexternal-a.akamaihd.net/safe_image.php?d=AQC07DwvgkcD8kjR&w=154&h=154&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.jwflyfishing.com%2Fwp-content%2Fplugins%2Fall-in-one-seo-pack%2Fimages%2Fdefault-user-image.png&cfs=1&upscale

    That is the blank image link. all-in-one-seo-pack must be eliminated from this equation.

    I tried the easy facebook share thumbnails plugin already, I think I tend to agree with you that maybe its a cache problem, it makes no sense that none of this has worked. It seems as though something is written in the code perhaps from an unistalled plugin. I am working on getting you some credentials and I will email them to you, if you would like to take a look. I have never done that before so I am not really sure how, but I will look around and hopefully I can figure it out.
    Thanks again for your continued effort to help me and get these buttons working.
