Facebook Share Link with Different Images/Photos Appearing

I had the same issue and found out that i had to install spider facebook in order for it work. For some reason facebook pulls randoms pics from the page instead of the feature thumbnail but when i installed spider facebook it allowed for open graph that facebook uses to find the right thumbnail.

Thank you. I tried the recommendation of lemurianisindonesia by debugging it through fetch new scrape information but it did not resolve the issue yet. You can try to open the below link and you will see the picture of the author as the featured image but upon sharing it at the below facebook icon of the article, the featured image or photo of the author is appearing differently in the wall of the Facebook with another image when the Share Link is clicked. Please help.

hi Mensahero, i was open your site and found the problem.
Your site problem site is “Dont have OG meta tags”..OG (Open Graph) is important tags for facebook to recognized your site ex, site title, description, thumbnail image, etc..

please read this first https://ogp.me/ .. and then install this plugin to automatically add OG tags..

Hi lemurianisindonesia thank you for your recommendation however, I already installed the WP Facebook Open Graph Protocol but the different image thumbnail is still appearing once the FB Share Icon is clicked.

Try to open the below post and once you click the FB Share icon, the RCA Banner is appearing in the Share Link and not the correct picture of the author of the post.

Please note that I also installed the Spider Facebook plugin but the problem is still the same.

uninstall open graphs if you have spider facebook installed. Do you have the offical facebook plugin installed as well? I forgot to mentioned i had to have both installed for it to work. try it and lets us know if it works for you.

Hi, shark I already installed the official facebook plugin and spider facebook and I uninstalled the open graph plugin but it is till the same problem that I am facing, different thumbnail is appearing in the share link.
