I recommend you install an OpenGraph plugin to force Facebook to use the featured image in your post as the thumbnail, sometimes FB ignores the parameters we pass in.

Looking more closely at, it seems this is caused by the All in One SEO Pack plugin, could you try disabling it for a few moments and trying again to see what happens?

Hi and thanks for getting back with me. I disabled the All in One SEO plugin and I tested Facebook sharing on 4 blog posts. One is returning an image but it is not the image for the post it is a banner ad in my side widget.

The others are still returning the same blank profile image in the screen shot.

I am leaving the SEO plugin disabled for now in case you want to look at it again.

As per your other thread, Facebook is probably still caching those posts. Use the FB debug tool I linked in the other thread to check them.

This was not working because the image was too small

Hi , When I have an image embedded in a page, the share on Facebook looks fine but when I share a post with a category Gallery, and the image is the only content, all I get in Facebook is an image of the Facebook icon enlarged to fill the image area.
I do not have any SEO plugins installed and I do have OGraphr version 0.8.35 installed.
The only other plugins I have are Akismet,Contact Form 7 and a theming plugin called Microthemer.
I am on the latest version of WordPress,4.1.1, with a child theme of Twenty Fourteen.
My site is Protect the Frome Valley at Stapleton
If you test a post of the main page to FB it is fine but then try the Kingfisher post and you will see what I mean.

It’s loading the correct image for me for the Kingfisher post as well, the pic with the bird is picked up by Facebook.
