Facebook sharing not pulling correct images

I am getting a strange issue where the plugin button share is not pulling the correct og:image files of posts. Instead, it grabs the top two images from the site overall, which is usually the header images. I’ve noticed that the issue is similar to another user’s recent issue (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/facebook-image-getting-swapped-out)
This only affects FB shares, not G+. The FB scraper is seeing the post images just fine, and if someone posts the link of the post/page directly the correct image options appear. It only seems to happen during the share.me option.
