Facebook-style way to embed webpage links in WordPress

  • I’m looking for a way to embed links in a WordPress post in a way similar to Facebook’s approach….that is just pasting a webpage URL and having a blurb and thumbnail from that external page presented and linked to the particular site.

    I don’t so much need it for videos or pictures, mostly just articles from other sites.

    Anyone have any experience with such a plugin?

    I found Embedly Pro, but that’s more for videos and pictures and only works with a limited number of sites. Hoping to find something that’ll work with WordPress for any site..

    Any luck with this? I am looking for something similar.

    I’m going to go nuts! I am looking for the same kind of plug in, I cannot believe there isn’t one.
