Facebook thumbnail very blurry

Sorry to hear that you’re seeing a blurry thumbnail when sharing a page on Facebook.

Do you see the relevant image blurry when you open from the above link? We expect you to see it correctly as expected. If that’s the case, Yoast SEO is outputting the image correctly. So, you’ll need to make sure that you’re using the correct image ratio to make sure that Facebook shows it correctly.

Ok, so digging deeper into the issue it turned out it was not even wordpress nor its themes/plugins (wordpress did blurry the image a little, but not as horribly as it was being shown in the Facebook thumbnail), it was instead the Facebook compressor that does not get along with big spaces of a single color (like the text and the background).

I solved the problem by using Textures instead of colors.
Thanks for the quick response nonetheless as it helped me get in the right direction. I know a lot of wordpress plugin’s forums where it is impossible to get even 1 answer.

I have a similar issue with the OG Image tag I use with Yoast for Facebook. The image I’m trying to use can be viewed at https://realestatemachine.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/2048-Hyperlocal-Content-2048-x-1414-px.png

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to share an image on Facebook with Yoast so that the images retain their quality?
