Facebook TOS violation?

  • Hi,

    I really appreciate your tool. However, I was wondering if this may violate Facebook TOS.

    “3. Safety
    We need your help to keep Facebook safe, which includes the following commitments by you:
    …
    3-2 You will not collect users’ content or information, or otherwise access Facebook, using automated means (such as harvesting bots, robots, spiders, or scrapers) without our prior permission.

    Do you think using this plug-in may violate this? Do you know how to get the prior permission?

    It’s upto you. The site you’ll be using this plugin in, it has to be your responsibility. I made this tool and made it opensource. Using this tool is upto entirely to the user and I am not sure about the legal means.
