    Hello,

I have a bunch of variable products that I placed in a feed for Facebook. The parent product does not have a SKU but all the variants does.

I use Facebook for Woocommerce plugin for pixel and CAPI implementation. Product sync is disabled in this plugin. I only sync with Product Feed Pro.

My problem is, that Facebook for Woocommerce sets “wc_post_id_” as prefix for the content id in the pixel events. It looks like this:

But I can’t find a way to format it the same way in the feed. If I choose “Item group ID” as value in the field mapping settings, it sets the content ID but with no prefix. Like this:

Is there a way to format the feed in the same way with the “wc_post_id_” prefix for item group id?

Like this “wc_post_id_17520” and not just “17520”.

I had kind of the same problem with simple products but were able to resolve it by using the value “SKU_ID (Facebook)” in the id field. I can’t find a similar solution for the group id of variable products.

    Thank You!

    Hi @kejserjorn ,

I don’t think that’s possible. You could try adding a prefix or suffix in the feed but I believe that will add spacing between the suffix and the value.

You could try exporting via CSV and making the changes there.

Also, by default our plugin does not add prefixes to the ID’s, it’s best to reach out to the Facebook For Woocommerce support team if possible to remove such prefixes.
