Faceted Search in PODS

    Hi All,

    I recently started exploring pods. and I am having couple of doubts

    1) If we create pods and store custom data into it, Will it store it in database tables or only in metadata ? If it stores in Database tables , Will magic link still works instead of WP Query ?

    2) Is Faceted Search possible via PODS ?

    Everything stores in the Database, regardless if it’s Meta or Table Storage. Magic Tags will work with Meta under Table Storage. If you’re not sure if the solution will work for you or not, you should TEST. It’s a FREE plugin, it doesn’t cost you anything but time.

    Yes, Faceted Search is possible with Pods. Using FacetWP.

    Actually, “FacetWP only supports meta-based pods. It does not support table-based pods (also called Advanced Content Types).”
