  • Hi,

What slider type are you using (e.g. Flexslider, Nivo Slider) for the slider in question?

    I’m using Flexslider

    Hi,

If you ‘Save & Preview’ the slider in the Meta Slider WP Admin page, does the fade effect work in the preview?

No, it doesn’t work in the preview either.

    Hi,

Are you using a theme with Meta Slider ‘built-in’ (such as the Vantage theme)?

Could you open your browser’s developer console (CTRL+SHIFT+J or F12 in most browsers, then select the ‘console’ tab), then preview the slider again? Do you see any error or warning messages in the console?

I am using the Ruby theme. It had a slider built into it, but I chose to disable that slider, install the Meta Slider, and use their slider instead. I opened the developer console, but did not see any error or warning messages.

    Hi,

If possible, please could you try temporarily switching to a default WordPress theme?
Does the Fade effect work correctly in this case?

I switched to a default theme. It still didn’t work.

    Hi,

Please could you take a screenshot of your slider settings? You can use an online service such as snag.gy to upload the screenshot.
