Fade Speed. HELP!

Can some please instruct me on how to get the speed to go faster? I have seen several questions related to the speed, but no answer to how to speed it up.

I am using the fade option and even at the fasted speed it is still too slow. I would like mine to sort of blink through at perhaps 1 second intervals. Can someone suggest how to do this? Even an increase of 50% would be good. Just anything?????
