Fading from poster image to video (Vimeo source)

Hi

I see the video is loaded in an iframe, so modifying the Vimeo video seems impossible. Is there any solution to fade from the poster image to the video as soon as it’s ready to play?

This solution would work well, if the video wasn’t loaded in an iframe.
