    I’ve tried to setup this plug-in for DAYS, and it fails every time.

    Yes, I’ve read the instructions here: https://www.cloudways.com/blog/post-smtp-mailer-fork-of-wordpress-postman-smtp-plugin/

    Like other users, the process breaks at step 18 (“Choose an account”) and displays the following message…

    * * * * *
    This app isn’t verified

    This app hasn’t been verified by Google yet. Only proceed if you know and trust the developer.

    If you’re the developer, submit a verification request to remove this screen.
    * * * * *

    So I click the “Advanced” link and get this message…

    * * * * *
    Google hasn’t reviewed this app yet and can’t confirm it’s authentic. Unverified apps may pose a threat to your personal data. Learn more
    * * * * *

    So I click the link to proceed (“unsafe”) and it SEEMS to work as I step thru the remaining setup screens on Google.

    However, after the last click, I’m automatically sent to the “redirect link” – which I copied exactly as instructed – and it does redirect back to the website, but returns a completely blank white page and nothing else happens.

    As I’ve said, I’ve run the setup SEVERAL times, just to be 100% sure I got every step correct before posting for support.

    I simply CANNOT get this plugin to connect or authenticate or whatever.

  • Hi @klynam,

    Sorry it has been so long and no one has yet replied to your thread. I have just begun supporting the plugin here, do you still need assistance?

    Kind Regards,
    Tim
