Fail to add new user

  • I tried to add new user as administrator to my page, but the new user never receives any email regarding the new account.
    I clicked on the “Send Reset Link” button on the profile page, but the alert “Error: The email could not be sent. Your site may not be correctly configured to send emails. Get support for resetting your password.” popped up. What have I done wrong?

  • Hello,

    Your SMTP isn’t configured yet, it allows you to send emails from your server. You can follow this tutorial to configure it.

    You can also add an admin to the WordPress database via MySQL but this method isn’t recommended since it’s better to configure your SMTP server.
