    using: WP-Members v2.9.8.1

After updated to the latest version of WP and WP-Members, I got an error message “Login Failed! You entered an invalid username or password.” every time login through front end widget form, even I did enter the correct information.

BUT, if I logged in through back end WP login form (there is no problem to login) and then go back to the front end HOME page (the status showed that I success logged in). If I log out from front end form “logout” and loggin through front again, it will success log in, BUT later it failed again through front end.

Don’t know what’s going on??? Is there anything I can check from my end for what happened, now users and admin can’t login from front end. Please help!!

    Thank you.

Let me describe more details about this problem after trying whole day:

    – Any users (included admin) got “failed to log in” error message, no matter how correct info. they entered through front end widget form. ONLY If users (included admin) logged in from back end log in form (WP default form) to dashboard and then click on “visit site” (left upper corner home icon) which means go back to front end. Then, through wp-members widget front end form logged out, and logged in from front end again –> this will success log in without error message showed up. After the above process, if logged in again through front end without going through back end, it will work without any problem as well.

    – BUT, if you changed machine (of course, each user will use different machine), then the fail to log in error message showed up again and can’t log in with any users include admin. Means have to go through back end (log in) – front end (log out) – front end (log in) over again and again, which make no sense at all.

Users can’t log in through widget log in form after updated to this latest version. And this site did not add new plugins or have any cache plugins either. It’s really weird, still did not figure out what’s going on. Hope will get answer soon. Thank you so much.

In my case: conflicted with plugin “Captcha”.
Hope this could help others. Thanks.
