I have a website that whenever I try to access wp-admin, it gives me this error:
Your access to this site has been temporarily limited by the site owner
Your access to this service has been temporarily limited. Please try again in a few minutes. (HTTP response code 503), for successive failed access attempts.
However I didn’t make these attempts, and the ip shown is the ip of the server itself.
    Can you help?

Hi @zecamaral, thanks for reaching out to us.

It sounds like IP detection isn’t set to the correct value in your Wordfence settings, so a block for one user is resulting in a block for everybody. Renaming your /wp-content/plugins/wordfence plugin folder to “wordfence_bak” should let you log into your site normally. You can then rename the folder back to “wordfence”, take note of your IP – (note that this detection can sometimes not be 100% accurate on cellular phone network connections): https://www.whatsmyip.org.

Head over to Wordfence > All Options > General Wordfence Options > How does Wordfence get IPs and reference the area under that section that says Detected IPs and Your IP with this setting. Start from the top and check to see if any of the settings show that both of those show the same IP as the site above does.

If you’re using Cloudflare, you will most likely need to select “Use the Cloudflare “CF-Connecting-IP” HTTP header to get a visitor IP. Only use if you’re using Cloudflare.

    Thanks,

    Peter.
