So I was trying to back up the site, you know, just in case something happens so I can restore it.

Then at about 91% it suddenly gave me a Backup Failed message with the little sad face.

It gave me this code to share here: BMI-JPaPwL6A-57056

I then tried again, see if the same thing happens, and yep, it failed again. This time it gave me this code: BMI-zQRbFdMD-50882

So then, I went back to plugin settings and under “What will be backed up?” I removed the check in “WordPress Installation” which I had added before. Then I tried the backup again and this time it worked.

So it seem like it doesn’t like it when you ask it to also zip the “WordPress Installation”.

Hope this helps with any possible updates.

But other than that… I gotta commend you guys on an amazing backup and migration plugin!

    Sincerely,

    Jaime O.

    Hello Jaime,

Thank you for your kind words! ?? Indeed, our team tries to optimize the plugin in each new version, so that it works flawlessly with any WordPress instance. Though there are tens of millions variations out there on the web.

For your specific case, this simple change of settings should make the process smooth:

    Please follow these steps:

    • Go to “Other options” section
    • Change backup method: https://prnt.sc/1s1ofpa
    • Disable PHP CLI checking: https://prnt.sc/1sljr31
    • Save “Other options” section
    • Force stop both processes: https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm
    • Increase your website’s maximum execution time limit from 30 to 300
    • Increase your website’s Memory limit (wp-config): from 40M to 128M

When you do that, try to run the full site backup once again.

Let me know if that worked for you ??
    Thank you!
