Failed Authentication

  • Whenever i try to connect with Amazon Auto Links i hot the following error:
    How to solve tphis?
    Failed authentication.
    Error: 401 Unauthorized ; UnrecognizedClient: The Access Key ID or security token included in the request is invalid

    Including this one:-
    Failed authentication.
    Error: 429 Too Many Requests ; TooManyRequests: The request was denied due to request throttling. Please verify the number of requests made per second to the Amazon Product Advertising API.

    Hi,

    Please test your keys with ScratchPad (https://webservices.amazon.com/paapi5/scratchpad/index.html) when you get that error message. If you get that error on ScratchPad too, your keys might have an issue.

    The 401 error should be resolved by setting valid keys.

    The 429 error seems to occur when:

    – you just signed up for Amazon Associates account and the API keys are not ready
    – you haven’t made actual referrals in last 30 days
    – the request exceeded the API rate limit

    Anyway, please try testing your keys on ScratchPad first.
