Failed Automatic Upgrade from 2.8 to 2.8.1

Hello,

I currently have version 2.8 installed and for some reason, when I try to automatically upgrade from 2.8 to 2.8.1, I get the following error message:

Installation Failed

Nothing more, nothing less. Does anyone know what’s wrong and how I can fix this so that I can upgrade to the new version of WordPress? The reason why I want to upgrade is because I want to be kept up-to-date with new and/or fixed features and also because I cannot move my widget AT ALL because they seem to have stuck since I have received the yellow “WordPress 2.8.1 is available! Please update now.” message.
