Failed: fread() failed

I am trying to restore my functions.php file.
I have downloaded the extractor dmg and am getting the error message Failed: fread() failed
I have not yet found the instructions for how to run the extract.php on the website, so I don’t know if I will generate the same error message there.
If you know why I am getting this error or have the instructions for the php at hand, that would be helpful!

You don’t need to use extract.php anymore. We’ve released a new product for unpacking/extracting SGBP archives. You can check it out here: https://backup-guard.com/downloads
