Failed log in attempt of one user affects all users

    Hi!

    Looking for some help!

    So I am building a WordPress site. And the ultimate member plugin is doing good but then I just noticed something weird.

    So, I have a test profile, when I tried to log in with wrong password, my admin log in was affected and said the usual I have to wait for 20 minutes. So I made another test profile and same problem, all profiles cannot log in within that 20 minute time frame. I hope I explained this correctly. Can someone help? Thanks!!

    Does this issue occur with a default WP theme and UM core plugin only?

    Hi @champsupertramp!

    I don’t know if it occurs with a default WP theme but I am using one with Elementor plugin. Are there any plugin or so theme that UM conflicts with?

    My only active plugins are elementor, Sucuri and UM..

    The only solution I have right now is to set my login limit to 0 hours this way, even if the user exceeds his number of tries, he wouldn’t get locked out or everyone doesn’t get locked out.

    Hi @eunicewp,

    Do you have any security plugins installed?
    Please try to uncheck “Reset Password Limit” in Ultimate member -> Settings -> Access-> Other and see if it helps.
