    Hi, we’ve switched to this new payment plugin yesterday, and since then we are receiving a few failed orders the problem is there are no clear notes on why does the order failed it makes us feel that there’s an error on the system see this https://prnt.sc/26u2x0f

    Most of the failed orders are paid via Credit card. Can you check this and let us know if this is really how the plugin handled failed orders?

    Hi @leslieannetd,

    If you encounter any issues with credit card payments, in particular, then we suggest disabling the PayPal Card Processing for the moment.
    There have been reports about compatibility issues from some users and we are working to address these in one of our next updates. The upcoming update first extends and improves the error messaging, and the following update should resolve the issue entirely.

    In the meantime, payments with the default credit card smart button (will automatically be loaded instead of the PayPal Card Processing) may provide a more consistent payment experience on your site.

    This is noted, however, even if we disable Paypal Card Processing the pay via debit/credt button still appears (we’ve cleared the cache though) see this: https://prnt.sc/26w6yu2

    In addition to the issue, for instance, the same customer managed to place the order with the same card a bit later…so why does the plugin declining so many card payments?

    Just wanted to check if you have any update here?
    We’ve received a notification that old Paypal plugins will stop working on March 1.

    Can you let us know if the failed order issue is now fixed?

    Apologies for getting back just now, as the thread flew a bit below our radar since it’s a bit buried already.

    There have been a lot of compatibility and stability improvements over the last six months. At the beginning of the year, there were more reports than usual about potential issues with the PayPal Card Processing, in parts due to the 3D Secure v2 switch at PayPal.

    Since we don’t know what was originally causing this issue for you, I suggest giving it another try, ideally on a staging site and with a PayPal sandbox account.
