Failed Readiness Report: Country VAT rate error

    The readiness report says that the test for Per-country VAT rates are up-to-date (EU) failed: “The following countries have tax rates set in a tax table, that were not found as any current VAT rate: IE (0 %), SI (5 %)”.

    My shop sells books and I typed the reduced VAT rates for books from alavara.com (https://www.avalara.com/vatlive/en/vat-rates/european-vat-rates.html). The VAT for books is 0% in Ireland and 5% in Slovenia. How can I fix this?

    Hi,

    Thank you for this report. I have updated the rates used by the plugin (fetched from the cloud) to include the Slovenian reduced e-book rate (previously it was not included). Your readiness report should automatically catch up after 12 hours; or you can clear all your transients to do so quicker (Google: “wordpress clear all transients”).

    For the 0% rate, you should just skip entering that in the tax table; entering a 0% line is the same as not entering it, and the plugin then won’t report a non-matching rate.
