Failed to activate: syntax error

  • Hi all,

    Installation worked but activation failed with this error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/106719/webspace/siteapps/694/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/gravity-forms-stripe/includes/class-gfp-stripe.php on line 1042

    The line in question:

    PPP\Stripe\Stripe::setApiKey( $api_key );

    The backslashes look weird to me but I’m not a PHP expert.

    GravityForms works 100% fine on the site.

      Versions:

    • Gravity Forms Stripe: Version 1.9.2.9
    • Gravity Forms: Version 2.1.1

    Any ideas?

    Hmm. Just noticed “PHP Version 5.2.17”. Wonder if that is the problem given the “\” (backslash) namespace syntax was apparently introduced in PHP 5.3…
